Understanding advocacy and how to use advocacy approaches and tools can help organisation’s to increase their impact. However often the technical language that surrounds advocacy, and concerns about risk, can make it seem more difficult and complicated than it really is.
As part of the Common Ground Initiative Peer Learning Programme, INTRAC produced this toolkit to help small and diaspora NGOs understand what advocacy is, why to undertake advocacy and how to develop an advocacy strategy.
