Martin Whiteside is a consultant with over 30 years of experience in agriculture, climate change, environment and rural development programmes in Africa and Asia. Martin has led evaluations for a wide range of organisations including DFID, CDKN, ICRAF, AECF and a wide variety of NGOs. Martin has significant experience in Climate Smart Agriculture, in building resilience to climate and other shocks, in Community Based Management of Natural Resources and in using participatory approaches to understanding community constraints and opportunities.
