With participation, creativity and empowerment at her core Joy has developed and delivered train the trainers courses and community mobilisation programmes, designed Theatre for Development approaches to discuss taboo subjects and produced a radio show in Tanzania about what the bible says about sex.

An experienced facilitator and trainer in the NGO, academia and arts sector Joy specialises in creating engaging participatory learning experiences. Joy has recently worked at INTRAC in the training team after consulting for Tearfund, living in East Africa for several years advising on the uses of arts, games and storytelling in development. Joy is a mum of two small boys and loves music, dancing and all things crafty and creative.
