Jesse joined INTRAC in November 2023. She supports the smooth running and improvement of INTRAC’s business development and consultancy practice.
Jesse holds an MSc in International Development, Social Justice, and Sustainability from the University of Bath. In recent years, she has cultivated expertise in advocating for gender justice and women’s rights, primarily in North and West Africa. She has worked with local and international non-governmental organisations and collaborated with a range of stakeholders across ministries, public and private entities, as well as international agencies and institutions.
Before joining INTRAC, Jesse worked as a Gender Advisor with Santé Sud on a multi-country programme across Morocco, Tunisia, and Burkina Faso, promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence. Previously, she served as the Country Coordinator of a French-Ivorian NGO and managed a multidisciplinary unit for survivors of female genital mutilation in Côte d’Ivoire. In 2019, Jesse managed a two-year project aimed at promoting women’s economic participation as a means of gatekeeping and family reunification for street-connected children in southern Morocco. During her time working with INGOs, Jesse has also enjoyed contributing to organisational development and capacity-building in monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
