Emma is an accounting professional with an enthusiasm for charity finance, project financial management and a passion for making a difference. Currently in the role of Finance Coordinator and Project Accountant at INTRAC, they have previously worked with Social Value UK, Social Value International, The Albert Kennedy Trust and Breck Foundation.
When not working at INTRAC you can find Emma volunteering to better charity finance and governance. Having recently having finished their 4-year term as Finance trustee at LCR Pride Foundation, they are now privileged to be the Chair of a charity in the northwest UK called ReMade Wigan that works to create spaces for women and girls to work together, with the aim of connecting them, empowering them to work towards a safe and equal world for all women.
Whatever work you may find them in, it is always centred around a deep commitment to nonprofit ethics and promoting equality and diversity.
Emma holds the belief that whilst money can be the root of many evils, if it is used the correct way and with the right attitude it can be leveraged to make the world a better, fairer, and more caring place.
