Emma joined INTRAC in 2024, and is a Senior Consultant in our organisational development (OD) team. Emma has 15 years experience strengthening the capacity of civil society organisations in the Congo Basin. With expertise in organisation development, Emma has supported organisations in the natural resource governance sector by strengthening the capacity of individuals and organisations to achieve greater environmental and social justice.
Alongside this support, Emma has carried out several research projects including an analysis of:
- the main barriers to effectiveness faced by Central African civil society organisations working in the natural resource governance and conservation sectors;
- whether current trends in funding and partnership models enable or inhibit the success of these organisations;
- civil society capacity strengthening needs and existing support infrastructure in the Congo Basin.
