Benjamin joined INTRAC in 2024 as a Project Officer. His role entails supporting delivery of short- and long-term consultancies and grant funded projects, including organizing trainings, developing of learning resources and contribute to operational and administrative aspects of consultancy such as work plans, reports, budgeting, invoicing and updating project records on salesforce.
Before joining INTRAC, Benjamin worked as a Team Assistant with Cambridge Global Health Partnerships (CGHP), where he provided support across programme, fundraising and communications, ensuring members, partners and supporters receive outstanding support and stewardship. Previously, he served as Communication and Advocacy Lead of Youth Alive Liberia, a Civil Society Organization in Liberia, where he took a lead role in developing communication strategy and other policy documents, coordinated advocacy activities and supported staff capacity in advocacy and reporting.
Between 2016 and 2019, he worked with St. Johns Community Center as a Male Agent of Change Lead facilitator, DREAMS program, funded by USAID, which involved using participatory approaches in engaging men and boys in gender norms transformation and Gender Based Violence prevention and building partnerships for social change. Most of his work involved engaging communities to advocate for access to economic, social and health services.
Benjamin has done freelance work with Urban-A, as a research assistant, where he contributed in conducting qualitative research on two projects “Beyond Containment and Distrust” funded by the Social Science Research Council (SSRC), and the “Clean Energy” for NORCAP, under the Norwegian Refugee Council, contributing to publications:
- A Pandemic of Control: Views on Restrictions and Livelihoods among Women Traders in Nairobi
- Urban transitions: clean energy in urban recovery
Benjamin holds a higher Diploma in Mass Communication and Media Techniques, and a B.A in Governance and Development from MSTCDC.
