Adam joined INTRAC March 2016 as one of two principal consultants for the Middle East and North Africa. Adam has worked on social development in the Middle East region for over 20 Years. Previously he headed the Middle East policy advocacy and media office for Oxfam GB based in Cairo, and later went on to focus on Policy and influencing as Egypt representative for Oxfam Novib. Adam has worked with Care in Yemen and Egypt, Save the Children in Egypt and as a consultant for NGOs and UN organisations including WFP and UNRWA in Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen and Egypt.
Adam has an MSC in Social Policy and Planning from the LSE and an undergraduate degree from the American University in Cairo. Fluent in Arabic and English Adam has experience in advocacy and influencing, programme management, project and programme design, monitoring and evaluation and organisational structure and management.
