Dr. Martha Farrell, a Director at PRIA, became a victim of the terrorist attack on a guest house in Kabul; where she was on an official assignment providing training on gender mainstreaming and supporting Afghan officials and NGO workers.
Martha was an admired colleague and friend, committed to education, gender equality and women’s empowerment. She touched many of us at INTRAC with her kindness, compassion and knowledge.
Her sad passing reminds us and strengthens our commitment to keep working together to change lives and societies for the better and create a more just world.
