Isobel is an experienced coach and facilitator, supporting individuals, groups and teams to bring the best of themselves to their leadership for a more equitable and sustainable world. Beginning with voluntary teaching in the Israeli-occupied Gaza Strip, and then leading an international health charity, her journey over the past 30 years has taken her into establishing her own consultancy and through this to her current coaching practice.
Isobel sees coaching as a space to think, be and connect to what we most care about for the sake of ourselves, each other and the natural world. She offers coaching for leadership development, and to support purposeful action, resilience and wellbeing during transition, change and uncertainty. Her creative and relational approach invites body, heart and mind into the conversations, along with nature and the wider human systems of which we are a part.
As a facilitator she has co-designed and facilitated over 85 events for teams and groups (from 5 to 300 people) for a broad range of purposes in culturally diverse and often challenging contexts. Described as a facilitator who ‘leads from behind, she offers coach-mentoring to those running their own participatory events and gatherings.
Isobel is a Senior Coach Practitioner (EMCC/ EIA) with over 400 hours coaching experience, and holds a Diploma in Organisational Gestalt. She is also a member of the Ridhwan School.
